  1. 🎶British Admiral Howe's got troops on the water

Thirty-two thousand troops in New York harbour

Thirty-two thousand troops in New York harbour (thirty-two thousand troops in New York harbour)

When they surround our troops, they surround our troops

When they surround our troops (they surround our troops)🎶

  2. although i appreciate your awesome videos. many videos are very "great men" focused. i miss the social, geographical and common man's (and woman's!) perspectives.

feels like patriotc nation building more than a balanced historical account to my neither english nor american ears.
would love to know more about the hessians for example.

please take this as feedback. because i enjoy Extra history a lot! <3

  3. Silly fact about George Washington:

He went to bars and forced intoxicated people and those who didn’t understand English to enlist in his army by making them sign a contract.

If they failed to comply after signing, desertion was met with firing squads 😀

(Nice end, though the means to it were a bit shady)
