Not taking sides or saying that this is right, because it's not, but the reason Nicki said "you a roach and a monkey" is because Cardi called some other girls deceased child a roach and a monkey. It was like a "how do you like it?!" Type of moment. Nicki always seems to reference things from years ago and unless you catch it, it sounds like it comes out of left field.
