as a little girl l have heard my momma mention alot of the cities and towns here that you are showing on video, a lot was mentioned Bastogne especially lam wondering if my grandfathers , people lived there, his last name being Lanfemeyer he was half German his father and his mother was Dutch , my mother was there through all Hitlers hatred , my mother witnessed so much ! like shaving of young women’s hair being shaved off, German Soldiers standing around with their rifles ready to kill , my mother went without food! she said that her father traded his coat for a bag of potatoes, her younger brother was so skinny and had to run behind building’s to hide from the evil men with rifles running with her skinny little brother to a place in Germany where her Aunts , Uncles and other family members lived so that they could eat and get nourishment, so much she went through! how her and my dad met was “ He was an American WW2. Soldier , they met in some little town or Village l don’t remember, but they married there in Amsterdam. so they both were victims of War l guess you could say !
