Also! What I do with my daughter is I buy her dresses a bit big, then as she grows use leggings and they start turning to longer shirts that still look adorable. — I also! Buy opposite seasons, so in the Fall, they get the clothes on sale from the Summer like you did here! I'm pretty good at guessing as well (especially with dresses) so I might even go a dress size up for more seasonal things like, Christmas for NEXT year when I find deals ❤

I’ve never heard of specifically dressing your child in seasonal colors based on the season were in except Christmas. Christmas is the only time it makes sense

Where are you shopping though?
I always buy summer clothes in next size up in winter and same winter clothes in summer they are always like 60% off. Also school things i buy in the middle of year or at the end during sale time for future use as it never goes to waste but if you buy during school starting they are way costly
