The Rise & Fall of Sippline | Shark Tank India’s Most Roasted Startup
Sippline, the so-called “glass ka mask” startup, made waves on Shark Tank India Season 1—but for all the wrong reasons. The moment founder Rohit Warrier pitched his product, Ashneer Grover and Aman Gupta rejected it outright. Ashneer even called the company “useless”, leading to memes and trolling across social media.
At the time of the pitch, Sippline had sold only 1,200 units in 1.5 years, proving that the market didn’t really need it. After the episode aired, Rohit even filed a defamation case against Ashneer, which is still ongoing.
Fast forward to today—Sippline has completely shut down. In an attempt to survive, Rohit tried selling T-shirts and tissue papers, but those products also seem to have flopped.

i am from Bangladesh. This product seems trash to me. I mean who will use a glasscap most importantly who will carry this. If the glass is dirty i would clean it.
Useless product
