The cliche "Music soothes the savage beast" is a cliche for a reason. I really appreciate the two of you sharing your honest feelings in this reaction and your willingness to be not just open but raw with us, your audience, says a lot and I thank you. The greatest thing about music is that we each get something different from the same songs. I'm terribly sorry for your loss; to go through it once is awful but twice – my heart breaks for you. I had 6 miscarriages and one pregnancy where I had to carry the baby 2 weeks after she passed away so while I don't know exactly what you went through I can empathise and thankfully you had/have each other to lean on. And there in lies the magic that is music (to bring it back to why we're here lol); it sometimes helps to provide the words/sentiment that you wish to convey to others. I know I've always turned to music in times of trouble, sorrow, anger and love. Thank you for sharing!
