A bridge over troubled water, is a song of true friendship.. back in the 70s I was in high school, in music class my teacher played the piano while 30 teanagers sang it in 4 part harmony… That memory still makes my eyes water

I lost 2 (miscarried), had a daughter, and I DIED on the table. Obviously, was brought back. l lost 2 more. Then had a son. We thought we were done, because I just couldn't go through more loss, and I NEEDED to raise the two I got. Then, a few years later, came out last boy. We also adopted a teen girl.
This song rings true of how my husband and I feel, too. We have now been married 50 years! We were also career military, Navy.
