Larabars are pretty good and most are allergy friendly.
Personally I tend to only spend cash at vending machines when either the card reader isn't working for whatever reason, or if I can't reach it from my wheelchair (which happens way more than I'd like, it seems that a machine with the card reader is all the way at the top is pretty popular where I live unfortunately). So I hope this new cashless machine is accessible
