Thank you so much Ashton for sending over this recipe of your mom’s Joan! It was WOW! SO GOOD!
⭐️Ingredients:
1 stick butter
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups glutinous rice flour (must be glutinous!)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 can coconut milk
1 can evaporated milk
⭐️Directions:
Preheat oven 350°
Mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well between each one. Stir in vanilla. Pour in rice flour and baking powder. Stir in coconut milk and evaporated milk. Stir until smooth. Batter will be thin. Pour into 13×9 baking dish and bake for 1 hour.

Your Tagalog is good!! Haha and saying Bibingka is the right way to say it. The chewiness is because of the Glutinous Rice flour also known as Mochi if you’ve heard of Mochi.
We usually eat those from their banana leaf container and they usually contain coconut strips. But thanks for featuring this. I haven't had Bibingka in forever.
that is best with coffee 😍
Layer the bottom with canned pineapple spheres (drain the juice lol) and put a cherry inside each sphere next time before you pour the batter.
10:20 definitely eaten better when warm. It goes well with black tea or coffee.
momma's so cute 🙂
Yall love the engagement bait topics dont ya
FYI:
there is no long vowels in Tagalog words 🙂
"Masarap ang bibingka"
Or
"Ang bibingka ay masarap" 🙂
I thought this is Cassava cake.
