Christmas 1979. Soviet armor pours across the Afghan border towards Kabul as helicopters secure the mountain passes through the Hindukush mountains. But the Red Army leadership doubts it can pacify the country – so why did the Soviet Union invade Afghanistan?

Russia invade Afghanistan
Russia invade Africa
Russia invade Ukraine
There is a consipiracy… the Giant of Kandahar….what the Russians really wanted is the DNA of the Giant of Kandahar and his kin. The U.S. also had the same agenda to obtain it…
Too much filler content not related to the Soviet invasion
This channel has taught me more than I have learned in my entire life at school
I enjoyed the video, but enough with the commercials. I literally had 1 set 45 seconds after another set….
Funny how Andropov comes from a Jewish family 😂 well makes sense now
Sounds a lot like oversimplified voice
