I wonder if we replaced S2 with earth what kind of effects we would feel on the surface, disregarding not having our star for warmth, etc. Would we feel the acceleration and deceleration or would it not be noticeable enough. Or would the near side of the planet feel the gravity more than the far side

How do you know time is slowing down on the planet spinning the black hole? Have you been on that planet or star to measure it? The only instrument guys you have your telescope, what do you know what is going on on the star without of being their? Do you think it would be practical, if the doctor speaks with someone on the phone and tell the person what the person suffering with? With out of any additional test?
If that star has 1 million miles in diameter then 5000 miles per second doesn't mean much
