Mind blowing Explanation 🤯
I joined cts, worked for 6 months, resigned and started to freelance, did that for 5 years and had to close down during covid and find a job.
Joined a company which I didn't know is a startup. Did everything I learnt from freelancing for this company, spent 3 years and close to 10 hours every day, setup and lead many teams but had 0 new learning as the boss didnt want us to upskill.
Salary wasnt hiked for 2 years and when was given the you should contribute more as the reason for it!
The boss is still figuring out on how to make money and rewards staffs who simply does what he says irrespective of how stupid it is.
So in my opinion, if you know you have the skill, unless the startup is paying you well which is alteast 3-5 lakhs more than what MNCs are giving or if the team size is aleast more than 10, never join a startup if you have the experience.
80% startups fail within 3 years and most startups figure out how to make money in this period. So career growth, employee benefits and work life balance aren't their focus at all.
