Stop applying Vaseline – slugging 🤯❌❌

People with dry skin may benefit from slugging, especially wintertime ❄️ 😍

But those who have oily skin or are acne prone may steer clear, as the occlusive can trap facial oil and cause breakout❌

If you still wish to try slugging on oily skin, here’s how you can safely do it ✅ 👇🏻
✨slug on targeted areas — particularly parts of the face that feel irritated or dry — rather than slugging your entire face.

  1. So guys, Vaseline isn't terrible for you skin, but it's not recommended to put on your face. If you didn't know, Vaseline and petroleum jelly clogs your pores which can lead to breakouts, irritation, and a lot more. You may think that it's helping your skin but trust me, it's not. It might help your skin from your view, however, it's not. I'm not a dermatologist, but my mom knows that this source will 100% clog your pores. I believe that Vaseline is only for chapped lips.

BEFORE WE START HATING ON THIS COMMENT, I'd just like to say this: if this is helping your skin be healthier and it makes you feel good about yourself, you can use it because there is nothing I can do to stop you. You do you! I don't care if you use it on your face or not, just do what you think is best! ❤

  2. I wash my face with African black soap every night
Then I use rose water witch hazel
And then baby petroleum jelly on top

Only thing keeps my skin clear
And it also stops any acne I see coming
    It’s very preventative

I think it’s due to the lack of ingredients in this skincare
Very basic products without 100 ingredients

    African black soap cleanser
    Witch hazel toner
Then Vaseline or petroleum on top
As moisturizer and locks in witch hazel
