This song is 100% about Blake. (References like Gucci, sour whiskey, stealing someone's man, girl boss too close to the sun, too smug for your own good, etc. are all about Blake). Taylor admits that her "underground is dark "(like Blake's secrets). The song is basically saying: "I get you. I am just like you. You just aren't good at not getting caught. I will take your hand and be here for you." She could have shown her loyalty to Blake in different ways that do not directly tell us that she doesn't care that Blake is a mean girl and a bully. Basically, she is making light of Blake's evil acts against Justin. (Taylor's Easter eggs and riddles are simply stupid considering multiple innocent people's lives are being ruined, especially Justin's, by Blake and Ryan.) This is not gossip, Justin has provided plenty of evidence that Blake lied on every claim she made against him. And Blake has provided zero evidence. This game that Taylor is playing is so middle school and dumb when she (who is almost 40) should be standing up for what is true and just. I loved Taylor until "Cancelled." She is almost dead to me now.
The album was awful. So disappointing.
