In other words your REAL FRIENDS are the ones the help you through your tough times that feel your pain. Did Blake ever stand up for Taylor? NOT ONCE!! there were a few references to ariana grande as well with the lyrics "It's easy to love you when you're popular" a nod to Ariana playing Glinda in Wicked with the phrase "popular" and also the phrase "Or took somebody's man, we'll take you by the hand" which may clearly hint at ariana's past rumored scandal. And "Something wicked this way comes" as in wicked.
It also does hint at blake so clearly, she even referenced candace owens saying this about blake that she girlbossed to close to the sun.
But i think this song is one about loyalty and sticking by your friends. It is about the realization that we are all unlikeable and can make mistakes but that should not be a reason for us to judge others as it isn't fair and we all do have bodies in the attic aka secrets and past mistakes.
My hot take: Taylor deliberately chose clues that could apply to either one. Travis supports Brittany, and Taylor wants him to be proud of her. But secretly, she still supports Blake.
