3-2-1 Pie Dough Recipe 🥧
3 flour : 2 butter : 1 liquid
Recipe for 2 (9”) crusts
🥣 12 oz (1.5 cups) all-purpose flour
🧈 8 oz (1 cup) cold cubed butter
🧊 4 oz (1/2 cup) ice-cold water
🧂 pinch of salt
How to Make Perfect Pie Crust ✨
1️⃣ In a food processor, pulse the flour and butter until pea-sized.
2️⃣ With the processor running, stream in the cold water and add a pinch of salt.
3️⃣ When the dough starts to come together, stop and knead gently by hand.
4️⃣ Divide, wrap, and chill. Your homemade crust is ready to roll!

you probably know way more about baking than me, and I love butter, but, a combination of shortening and butter yields a better product I think, it just makes it so tender, while the butter brings the flake. great vids
