At long last it is finally time….
Many of you have asked for this, and now after nearly two years, I have returned to the history of the earth series to conclude the time period that I have talked about in more videos than any other. The Triassic period.
The Triassic period is often times overlooked. Seen as a time of small lizard like animals and weird creatures crawling around as the dinosaurs took over. And although this was indeed when the dinosaurs got their start, I feel like it would be wrong to gloss over this incredibly fascinating time without covering it properly. We have talked a lot about the bizarre beasts from this time like the Rhynchosaurs, Adopodentatus, and so many more… But the truth is that many of the families of animals that we are familiar with today got their start during the Triassic period.
So now, it is time to go on this journey to the end of the Triassic. Concluding with another mass extinction and finally arriving in the true age of dinosaurs.

Just a constructive criticism comment – the initial kinda rant about Walking with Dinosaurs could maybe be a separate short video. I find it detracts from the main part of the video and also affects its longevity as that show won't be relevant in a year's time when this video will remain super relevant for a much longer time. It's like over five minutes into the video before it really gets going properly. No hate. Just a regular rewatcher who can't be bothered to skip the first bit 😅.
Don't rush it. I'd rather see two or three videos for both the Jurassic and the Cretaceous than just one rushed video each.
i don´t understand why specialized animals can´t adapt when the climate changes, they did do it the first time too when they specialized….i assume that it takes the same amount of time when the weather changes and the animals can´t adapt like the first time when they specialize…….
26:14 Hey! That picture is from the Houston Museum of Natural Science! I grew up in that museum! I’ve been falling asleep to this video for a while and I just realized it! I’m happy
YOU USE NO A.I. A BIG THANK YOU FOR THAT; AND THAT´S A REASON TOO WHY PEOPLE LIKE YOUR STUFF::::::::WE ALL HATE THAT A.I. CRAP !!!
You're the best 😊
Truly thanks you for your work, phenomenal video and serie, eager to see the next part ! sincerly thanks you.
as some other said thought, i think the initial rant about walking with dinosaurs distract a bit from it, i just skip it personally i don't mind at all, but I'm afraid it could make some other viewers clic away, which i would find very sad considering the education value of the video… then again the rant might also hook some other viewers ? hard to say. perhaps it's more the later after all.
Awesome Video! I love it!
I lost my mind when you brought up harrerasaurs, harrerasaurus is my favorite Dino ever
