In today’s food review, I visited Sultan in Blackburn, Wally Range — a legendary spot that’s been serving honest, traditional Indian food since 1986. This place is the definition of old school: simple, no-frills, retro interior with just a couple of tables, hot plates full of curries, and fresh chapatis being made right in front of you.
But here’s the thing… it’s not about the décor — it’s ALL about the food.
And wow… the food delivered.
Authentic curries, perfectly cooked pilau rice, soft chapatis, and flavours that take you straight back to the roots of traditional Indian takeaway culture. It’s busy, it’s cheap, it’s genuine, and it proves that places like this STILL exist and are still serving proper, honest, true food.
While newer establishments compete with fancy interiors and Instagram aesthetics… Sultan sticks to what matters — the food. And they do it brilliantly.
