This is pure quality content.
Day 8 of asking for a video about the Toungoo Empire (The Largest Southeast Asian Empire).
And about Bayinnaung (The Greatest Conqueror of Southeast Asia).
He was the mastermind behind the Battle of Naungyo (10,000 vs 80,000). Unlike most conquerors, he expanded with mercy and unity, not mass killing or cruelty.
And about the Sino-Burmese Wars,
When the Konbaung kingdom of Burma repelled Four Invasions in a row from the Qing Empire of China. These wars prevented China from annexing Southeast Asia like they did to Tibet.
Please look into these, I believe your channel will benefit greatly from this content. Many brilliant strategies and tactics were employed in these events and brought about great impacts in Asia.
In Odyssey 11.520–λ 521, the text mentions the Κήτειοι (Kēteioi). Greek sometimes rendered the deep Semitic or Anatolian /ḫ/ sound in foreign names with κ (k), since the language lacked a corresponding guttural consonant. It is therefore plausible that Kēteioi reflects Ḫatti, the name of the Hittite kingdom. In Modern Greek these people are referred to as Χετταῖοι (Chettaíoi). The -oi at the end, only signifies a plural form like -s in English. If we put the plural ending aside, phonetically it is the same with the Egyptian version.
In this Homeric passage, the Keteioi fight alongside Eurypylus, king of Mysia, an ally of Troy whose realm lay east of the Troad. The geography corresponds closely to Late Bronze Age realities, when Mysia bordered regions under Hittite influence. Moreover, the written form of the Homeric poems was standardized many centuries after the events they describe—around the 8th century BC, whereas the Trojan War itself is generally placed in the 13th or 12th century BC. By that time, the Hittite Empire had already vanished, surviving only as a faint cultural memory—perhaps echoed in this brief reference to the Keteioi.
It is also worth remembering that the Iliad and Odyssey were not the only poems of the Epic Cycle dealing with the Trojan War. Other epics—now lost or preserved only in fragments and ancient summaries—include the Cypria, the Aethiopis, the Little Iliad, the Iliou Persis, the Nostoi, and the Telegony
Outstanding visuals!
Incredible how the Hittites balanced war and diplomacy with Egypt
You explained that so well.
Such a great explanation.
The information was spot on.
