I am about an hour and forty-five minutes into this and have learned next to nothing about the Maya, except some general statements about the great accomplishments, some pictures of sculptures and pyramids, finally some pictures of their writing. I have however heard much about many spaniards and white explorers. At this point I am giving up.

I don't understand why you keep mispronouncing the names of places. It really makes me question whether the rest of this is accurate or not.

Absolutely fascinating! The documentary does an incredible job of showing the complexity and achievements of the Maya civilization—from their advanced astronomy and architecture to their rich culture and traditions. Really makes you appreciate how advanced and influential they were in ancient America.
