I wish you would be more specific instead of throwing around terms like " because of strict labor laws" and "AI act", which I had to google – the AI act isn't even passed or implemented yet.
Also, the contents within the AI act seem totally reasonable so you don't get some kind of corporate technocracy like we have in China and US – no behavioral manipulation, no real time biometric facial recognition data storage, and no AI which tracks socioeconomic status.
Please make a video describing how this stymies competition and start up ideas – I think that would be very interesting and important to know so we don't have unnecessarily silly laws and red tape screwing over progress.
As someone who is living in Germany and worked for multiple (successful) startups, I have to disagree with you on almost every point. Have you ever been to the EU? If you have a great idea here, you also get funding quickly AND even public grants in some cases. Yes we have some more rules here compared to the US, but nothing that prevents you from becoming a unicorn.
