  1. With the kettle thing I think people don’t properly account for convince in the abstract. I’ve noticed this in my field of software, developers see a service and think why would I pay, I could easily build that myself. They don’t realize that their next few weeks of free time is definitely worth the cost of not making that service home made

  2. Fila was huge when I was a kid and no way could us council estate kids afford the brand. Then it became a cheap brand , as Steven referred to as I am a lot older than him . And apparently it’s now back as a premium brand. People are nuts. Quality and design matters , branding shouldn’t .
