From the phenomenal movie “Pursuit of Happiness”, Will Smith realizes he’s putting his own self-limiting thoughts onto his son. The depth of this scene is unmatched in most modern cinema and is highly relatable. I think we can all think of a time a parent or friends didn’t encourage us simply because of their beliefs, but we still sometimes let that get to us. Plan your dream, believe in your dream, protect your dream, and create your dream. Best of luck to all of you, sent with love.

"Don't ever let someone tell you you can't do something. If you want something, go get it. Period" This quote has helped me get through my studies when the people who were meant to be supporting me said I should give it up and get a labour job "more suited for you". Happy to say I cut them out of life, found a new company to help me finish my studies. Thanks to my new employment coach I have finished all the assessment part of my studies, and now just have to finish a work placement (already found a placement) and I'll be able to start a career helping kids with special needs. Glad I never gave up on my dreams despite people telling me I can't.
