  1. Ok I agree with most of this video but I don’t think it’s feesable to get sunlight first thing in the morning when it’s still dark out and I have to be in a building until 12:30 every day, only getting 30 minutes in my car for lunch

  2. There’s a point where you stop blaming everything around you and realize the real problem is the person in the mirror. I hit that point a few months ago not in some dramatic breakdown, just slowly, one quiet evening when I caught myself scrolling again instead of doing what I said I would. It wasn’t laziness, it was avoidance. I was doing all the “right” things training, working, staying busy but it all felt like pretending. I’d watch Goggins talk about pushing limits and discipline, and instead of getting fired up like before, I just felt exposed. Because deep down, I knew he wasn’t talking to random people online. He was talking to people like me the ones who know exactly what to do but still find ways not to do it.

That night I closed my phone and just sat there in silence, realizing how much time I’d spent preparing to change instead of actually changing. A few days later, I picked up From Fog to Focus by Maven Kade. I didn’t expect it to do much, but it hit me in a way I can’t really explain. It’s not written to motivate you it’s written to make you face yourself. There’s a line that says, “As you read this, your future self is either cursing you or thanking you. Choose thanks.” I read that line over and over again because it didn’t feel like a quote it felt like a challenge. Since then, I’ve been trying to move differently. I don’t chase motivation anymore, I chase consistency. Some days it’s messy, most days it’s quiet, but it’s real. And every time I want to quit or delay something, that sentence comes back — your future self is either cursing you or thanking you. It’s crazy how one thought can change everything once you finally stop running from it…
