Honestly the thing that gets me the most every time is how just how pacifist sperm whales are, considering just how absolutely metal they are when their prey is involved.
If your response to the oceanic terrorists that are orcas is "form up and stare until they leave", no matter if you have a numbers difference of 100:1 or 1:3, there's something you know that no one else does.
And it's not like they don't have the tools or ability to fight back, either. Their teeth are big enough to make you think twice and they know how to use 'em too; with whalers occasionally reporting that once they'd managed to fuck around enough to find out a sperm whale could divorce you of your arm faster than you could soil yourself over the magnitude of the mistake you just made.
And teeth aren't even their only weapon. Supposedly, their sonar is so powerful it can legit leave you temporarily numb if they tune up the jams too hard by accident. Imagine if they weaponised that against humans, it'd be a rave so powerful you wouldn't need any substances to leave you a quivering wreck for days after. And you'd deserve it too for pushing the ocean's biggest aura farm too far.
They are likely being trained to sink boats. I remember talking to my son about this right before the attacks started then boom all hell broke loose. Russia is training them as underwater "drones" of sorts and we have found the equipment on them from the research. Train them to disable boats can prove to be rather useful in some circumstances. Ones like what they are currently in.
