This is the third startup for the first ever Thiel Fellow. The first was a sleep monitor that was manufactured in China and marketed on Kickstarter but failed after a limited release and was pulled from store shelves, the second startup is a software company focused on software for product design and production logistics based around his experiences designing the sleep monitor. Both of the earlier startups revolved around leveraging Chinese engineering and manufacturing expertise.
