That is so wrung guys . That did not happen . Governor Ford told JS he could only get the papers . He could not destroy the press . They decided to send their chancelor to go get the papers . Please guys you need to do some way better research . It was against the law. He had permission from governor Ford to just get the papers which is legal JS and the 50 do not go . Neither does a sheriff . Just their chancelor goes . He is walking down the street and a group of members and non members start following the. Chancellor . About 300 men . The chancellor gets there asks for the papers. . They give them to him . But the three hundred men following get out of control and break things up and burn it down. Now they can go to ford and report Joseph Smith ordered the press destroyed . Which he did not . So now cord can arrest JS hyrum and the council of 50 . Now think hard guys . Use common sense . Now why do you think they let them go all of them . This is a trial where. They all hate them . They are nit going to let them go . Think . But because they. Had three hundred witnesses they had to find them not guilty . You seriously think they would have let them off ?? Come on . Then they called JS and Hyrum back .accussing them of treason . Saying they shot at governor Boggs. When they know they did not . Nothing you said about the press is true. Ford told JS he could only get the papers and JS agreed . He was warned he could not destroy the press and he did not . JS did nothing that he promised Ford he would not do . Yes it as against the law. And that is not what happened at all . Hard to believe that Dallin H oaks would say that . But then at times. They do rely on historians at times . Some are good some are bad . Like Brian Hales is a horrible historian and lies . Even when he has proof . Anyway this is nit how it happen. Do more research. Please guys . JS kept his word to Ford that he would not destroy the press. . No way would they just let them go . Think hard about that . Too many witnesses . You think JS is crazy to do that ? No way did he do that . He kept his word to only get the papers nothing more . Go search this more . Not your fault . I know some teach this but it is not correct .

💕At times. I want to give up! I’m a single mother with two autistic children. My husband passed away years ago. I’m alone. I suffered from lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children. Every month is a struggle not to end up on the streets with my sons. But even as I face homelessness, seemingly every month and even though I’m struggling to put food on the table for my children. I will continue to have faith. 💕
