Fun fact the Witches in this film are Technically a separate species called Hags.

So many men wearing dresses in the audience 😂, I’ve seen this movie many times and never noticed.

I was in 3rd Grade from 2011-2012 when I started reading the book and then I got into the movie and it never freaked me out at all I was mesmerized by Angelica’s performance as the Grand High Witch plus having Jim Henson along in the film to make the puppet mice was incredible!

I keep looking for this movie but they’ll never have it on again. This was freaking terrifying. I was a kid and unfazed. Now I’m 44 and this is creepier to me now. Why was I watching this as a child? Yikes!

Her dialogues, her delivery, the tone, intonation, accent, mannerism is so spot on. Even the costume, make-up, everything is so accurate. Truly marvelous and work of genius. The modern version just doesn't make it to the cut.
