I’m in New York City today and I’m heading to a German restaurant for the first time on the channel. The restaurant is called Rolf’s and has had many scathing reviews online about low quality food. Time to see if it’s as bad as people say.

Restaurant: you think reviews are bad ? No not really
The chef was on leave…meals were cooked by the waiter…LOL
This place is outrageously bad in every aspect. Poor decor, poor food, astronomical prices.
Iam living in Germany cca 14 years, and i never been in good restaurant in Germany, they dont know how to cook ….. its the worst kitchen on planet, but those plates in ROLFS are worst then i can imagine in worst nightmare, absolute disgusting presentation, and that schnitzel? OMG
When I see foreigners eat Weißwurst it always cracks me up….. seeing that they actually cutting into those…….. usually you just cut open the peal and eat the inside of the sausage….. it’s called “Zutseln” ….
And that red cabbage tasting vinegary is sure strange….. usually it should tastes a bit sweet from the apples or a splash of apple vinegar….. but that pork loin surely looks dry….. most likely just stored to long under the heat lamp or microwave…..
Having a name like Rolf's isn't a good start lol 😂😂

Guess the quality of the food suffers to cover the higher cost of lighting and decor which draws people in. Hopefully they will improve upon their recipes. Maybe they should focus on German specialties like breads, pastries and chocolates and turn it into a fancy coffee and sandwich shop instead. Remember NYC having few choices when it comes to German food.
