Here we go travelling back in time to listen to some of the great music from the 60s. I had never heard of The Mama’s and The Papa’s before today. I feel as though California Dreamin’ has a very mysterious sound to it. I have no idea why. To be honest I don’t even know what genre of music California Dreamin’ would fall under I just feel like you guys would enjoy this song.

Mama Cass Elliott best song was "Make Your Own Kind of Music". So strong, appealing, great pipes, feel good message. Don't muss it.
They weren't using mics because they weren't allowed to sing live on the tv show, if I recall correctly. So this was lip synced. Doesn't take away from the fact that they were very talented!
So melodic. Such a R&R Hall of fame group. I imagine they're already in there. This isn't live. It's a lip sync to their studio cut. No matter. They're great. Love the candids in the vid. Another group who mixed around with each other, but didn't fall apart until Cass Elliott passed. She was a FABULOUS songwriter. Google it!
