I would have hoped that the brisket and the wings would have been finished off on the BBQ to get some of the searing you'd normally get with a barbeque.

Maybe its just me, and it's a personal preference but i find "check backs" really annoying. If i had a problem i would just complain so I find a "check back" interuption intrusive.

Maybe its jist me!

I think many places have simply got too lax. There’s not much pride in food in some of these “trendy” places. It’s rife in York where I am. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some lovely little eateries here but these are largely independents or very small chains. Personal
opinion here. I feel if a location is touristy/popular some places feel they can serve below par food at expensive prices. A tourist isn’t usually going to be a repeat customer, so they don’t “need” to care. Aesthetics seems to be the focus above the food. Right with you on the music thing, as it’s a pet hate. It’s not a club – people want to relax, talk and hear themselves think.

Had the AUDACITY to make a comment on a females appearance as she was wearing hot pants, whilst proceeding to go red in the face. As a lesbian woman, I've not even LOOKED at a waitress' appearance, let alone comment on it. Creep. Creepo-eats.
