In 2018, Vaibhav Anant decided to start a sustainable packaging company called ‘Bambrew’ after watching a video of a straw being stuck in a turtle’s nose. Bengaluru-based Bambrew manufactures durable and biodegradable packaging products made of bamboo and other plant-based materials. The startup sells packing items such as carry bags, paper containers, cups, glass, etc. Bambrew claims to have replaced over 5,00,000 tons of plastic. Bambrew’s packaging is used by brands like Amazon India, Myntra, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto and many others.
By combining cutting-edge technology with nature-friendly raw materials, Bambrew helps businesses reduce their carbon footprint while meeting global sustainability goals.
