Why more assaults on static defensive positions weren’t done at night, I’ll never understand…
This TV show ARE the best as WWII theme! …Ardennes …those forests are scary…even nowadays!
Amazing what Spiers did. Really helps to have the script, enemy extra's, and director on your side.
Winters KNEW as soon as those men froze in the field, the Germans could hit them with precise, pre-planned artillery. Between that and the snipers, thats why the Germans were calling out distances to each other.
Idiot😡but that what happens when your Dad owns a dealership
Captain Ronald Speirs continued his military career after the events depicted in Band of Brothers.

* He also served in the U.S. Mission to the Royal Lao Army as a training officer during the Laotian Civil War.
* His final assignment was as a plans officer in The Pentagon.

The First Sergeant was a West Virginian from Huntington. Mountaineers are Always Free 2:13
According to Winters, what Spiers did was shoot a drunk Sargent who refused to obey an order to retreat.
They did Dyke dirty in the show, IRL he got shot and was in shock
I'd follow Speirs into Hell itself.
