I am absolutely enjoying watching young women getting into this series!
The sergeant lipton. Played by donnie Walberg. Yer.
The woman crying the whole time is a little much
I’d bang Spiers and I ain’t gae
Why is that girl always crying?
I never served in a combat but I’d follow Spiers through the gates of hell!
I’m a 69 year old veteran, I found out the day of my father’s funeral that he had served in Europe in ww2, and came home a very different man. I’m glad for you folks participating in this clip. Bare no shame for your tears! I to even an old man shed tears for the bravery and sacrifice that these men who gave their all! Thanks for your sharing of your responses!
Ronald Spiers was the real deal, Dick Winters confirmed in an interview the D-Day execution of prisoners did in fact happen. They were under orders for Day 1, NO Prisoners.
Dyke has been unnecessarily shamed and I don’t understand why. He was wounded twice during this battle which is why he was nearly non functional. He was losing blood quickly. Spiers relieved him because of that. He survived and made it home.
A battlefield commission is quite a thing.
