  7. Okay I understand this was for the sake of Victoria Secret so maybe it's that much makeup, but honestly I can achieve this looks with 1/3 of that foundation and products. And believe me irl without all these filters this would look soooo unnatural. So for all those who wants the same look I have a couple of recommendations. As someone who grew up in Asia a couple of points I want to share. Seriously dudesses, 1) you don't need all that stuff if your skin is good as hers now how you make your skin as good as hers? Step 2) this amount of foundation is NOT good for your skin, unless it's for the event as maybe she implied here, dont do it. Keep your skin healthy and foundation to the minimal for a daily look. I have PCOS and even I managed my skin to be healthy and glowy and wrinkle free at 34 nevertheless. So it's not impossible. Always ain for a healthy skin first. 3) Orange neck. Should I say more? Are we back to 2000s? Just don't.

  8. I will never pay for YT premium as $ is hard and would far prefer to sit through ads to support more content. I’ve even sat through a single ad over 4 minutes but says a lot about the priorities of YT now for their own income at the expense of the creators (not many would do that). One aspect that isn’t spoken of enough is the cost of living crisis, impact over consumption has on mental health and how it is impacting on the beauty community views. A lot of subscribers move away from the beauty community since the over focus on product reviews compared to how we tuned in to learn and a real mix of content in the past. I know everyone says tutorials or techniques don’t get the views but only product reviews in hauls turns off others and views stall to only the most dedicated of followers not the casuals. I’m an Aussie though so we are used to getting products years behind and it’s not the newest and latest fad that matters here.

    I see this as being a career change which is incredibly personal and valid but thanks for explaining in detail – I expect when creators become business owners their primary focus will start to shift. But I hope you explore some content in a way that gives you energy and a creative outlet for us.
