  1. The best thing about this scene is when that shotgun comes up, you know it is Munny holding it. It is an outstanding piece of direction because it's the last thing anyone expects, including the audience. The thunder crack as the shotgun comes up is perfect. Hard to believe that this film and A Few Good Men were in the theatre at the same time.

  2. I love the "Dollars Trilogy", but I love this gun fight because of the realism, everybody is incredibly terrified, when they were acting tough moments early. Clint does not hip fire six rounds, hitting six men center mass in 2 seconds; he drops to his knee to make himself a smaller target and USES THE SIGHTS on the pistol, taking carefully aimed shots even though they are in close quarters. All the fake tough guys miss because they are shook. The killing of people is not romanticized, William Munny is a stone cold killer, a legit psychopath that still has PTSD from all the lives he has taken. When Little Bill says, "I'll see you in HELL William Munny", Munny takes a long pause, looking Bill dead in the eyes the entire time, then simply replies, "Yea".
