Beautiful look, Linda! Ehhh, I canβt quite agree about your thought that cool toned eyeshadows are more prominent now. Maybe we are looking at different brands. I would say companies are finally coming out with cool toned palettes along with their warm toned palettes. But no, cool toned hasnβt taken over; itβs just kind of starting to catch up.
Thank you for the reminder and encouragement to use the good stuff! I'm guilty of using the crappy stuff first to get rid of it, since I know I'll never repurchase it, and I want it out of the way. I'm gonna reverse that and use my favorites first. I'd rather take a chance on the crappy stuff expiring than the good stuff expiring. Too bad for the waste either way, but sometimes it takes trial and error to discover what you like and what works for you, and that is okay!

We all have brown, pink, blue etc shadows and shimmers. It doesnβt necessarily have to be pat McGrath or Dior.
We can still create the same look or a variation of it.

I so appreciate the encouragement to create makeup looks with our exsisting palettes! Also, I appreciate your method of emphasizing natural beauty. I RARELY ever use actual foundation or concealer in favor of a gentle skin tint. No shade meant at all to the folks who rock a full beat, its just not my journey.

I donβt know how you keep up with the new releases. I think my head would explode trying to keep up, thatβs why I just buy single eyeshadows, and I have enough of those too
I love this type of video. I stopped buying eyeshadow a while ago and I make it a point to dupe new releases, because I absolutely already have the colors in my collection. Especially being able to layer and mix shades to create new ones.

I'm so happy that cool-toned options are available now. My skin is cool-olive (literally sage green) and orange and warm browns make me look like I should be hospitalized. 2016ish me was not cute.π
Sometimes I still rock an orange, because it's not always about being cute… I just wish I looked as π₯as you do in it!
