In this video, I visit Spice of Asia, a tiny, tucked-away spot in the industrial town of Nelson that seriously blew me away. Walking in felt like stepping back into the 70s and 80s—real old-school vibes, from the décor to the atmosphere.
But it’s the food that truly steals the show. The curries were rich, traditional, and packed with flavour, just like how they used to be done. And the service? Absolutely incredible. Friendly, welcoming, and full of character. Hands down, one of the best hidden gems I’ve found in the past year.

Good review …..Nice clean place…….Im starving now…!!!!…😁
Good food good price 👍👍🙏🇬🇧
12 quid more than enough for 2 people…that is an absolute steal.!!
12 quid doesn't get you much these days .
Food looks great too masha Allah
You lot up north are lucky when it comes to eating out. Here in London you often wouldn't get a starter for £8 😞
Good video my momin brother.
Food looks amazing, don't get that kind of wholesome food in London. Need to try it for sure.
That looks fantastic for the price, especially when you consider what a shop sarnie or pasties cost
I hope you paid for that meal 😮
The code word is always Rubicon 👍👍👍
Looks like the usual garbage you get from Burnley thick stewed effigies. Not one place in Burnley brier field nelson colne that can cook a decent curry. Accrington included, get north of Rochdale and there crap I've tried the majority and cook my own now. We came to the conclusion that the curries are crap because there's no custom for them as everybody cooks at home. The people who thin these good don't know any better. Ill pay for them if you want to do a video just to prove it. That would be a honest review and your lucky you got mint sauce brother its usually chilli sauce and cream in the dopiaza lol Ill pass we had this discussion a few years ago. The council are only bothered about the stars and that don't have bearing on good cooking
Not many places give you roti or a nan with your curry anymore, top restaurant
