  1. One of the things Marie Kondo emphasizes the most is making it easy to put things away, even if that means making it kinda difficult to access them by comparison/as a tradeoff. We're inherently motivated to access things, but putting them away… notsomuch. When it's hard to put things away, we end up with clutter, compounding the issue. I'm so happy for you and your family that you were able to finally get into a system that works so well for you—it truly is life-changing magic!

  2. I’ve found for me that declutterring is often done quite well in between episodes of a show (or self imposed intermission for a movie) Usually either me or my partner needs to use the restroom, make a microwave/air fryer dinner, figure out where a cat got stuck, take meds, etc. The person who isn’t doing that task can then do a night time tidy up/declutter session. If we’re both doing something, then the person in the kitchen ends up handling the kitchen while waiting to have their meal finish cleaning. It’s something that started as a task to keep busy but is now a sort of rule. I guess the show Big Comfy Couch had more impact on me then I thought it did (there’s a thing in each episode called “ten second tidy”)

  3. You guys both give so much to everyone it’s amazing how you could bless each other. Keep going and record your progress even if you don’t share it publicly it will help with your process. I look forward to hearing more about your new journey to becoming an even better you. ❤❤

  4. I was never diagnosed with ADHD. But, as I listen to different clinicians, I have no doubt that I have ADHD. I am sad about how much it impacted my life negatively. My mother didn't know what to do, my school teachers couldn't help me either. I think the worst part of this disorder was the impulsivity. I can't tell you how many bad decisions I made out of anger. I am trying to find a clinician that specializes in ADHD counseling. Wish me luck!
