  1. What would have happened if the Timurid dynasty had joined the Byzantine-Ottoman War on the Byzantine side?

I see several reasons for their entry:
    1. Revenge: Timur had humiliated the Ottoman Empire in 1402 (Battle of Ankara), capturing Sultan Bayezid I.
    2. Concern: The Ottoman conquest of Constantinople could have put them at risk of a Persian-Ottoman war, especially since the two empires didn't get along.
    3. Religion: Although both were Muslim, the Timurids were more tolerant of Christians, and many Timurid princes sought prestige and alliances with Christian powers (as Babur would later do with some Indian kingdoms).

    4. Political strategy: Weakening the Ottomans would allow them to regain influence in Anatolia and western Persia. 5. Risky move to save the empire: If they defeat the Ottomans and save Constantinople, it could reduce popular rebellions and further unite the population after such an achievement.

  2. If everything had gone well for Gran Colombia and Bolívar's dream, first and foremost: Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean islands would have united; we would have avoided the independence of Texas, the sale of Louisiana from Spain to France and from France to the USA, and the sale of Florida; we would have annexed the Andes and the rest of South America; we would not have lost Belize, Guyana, the Falkland Islands, and Trinidad and Tobago to the British; we would not have lost Puerto Rico or Panama to the Americans, nor Cuba to the Soviets; and we would have fulfilled Bolívar's dream of the most powerful nation on the face of the earth: a mixed, Christian, Hispanic, Western, and advanced nation.

  3. As an Ecuadorian, I just cant imagine how terrible it would had been if bogota called the shots for us, no hate, ecuador is a mess but these guys cant handle guerrilla dissidents like peru and ecuador did
