Just the problem is that Madagascar was a Soviet ally in the Col War in real life. I'm pretty sure such a Poland-Lithuania would've ended up crushed by Soviet-backed Madagascar, which would've ended up invading that apartheid (because Poland-Lithuania can only be an apartheid there)
