Would a nuclear bomb even be able to make it to the bottom of the Mariana Trench? What if the pressure crushes the bomb? Would it detonate or become scrap?
It's so funny to me that people are like "Do you even know what the tsunamis would look like from an atomic bomb?!"
Yeah…they wouldn't exist. We aren't more powerful than nature.
An atomic bomb would be the equivalent of a 4.0 earthquake….which is hardly even noticeable & not enough to cause a tsunami in most cases.
The tsar bomba (largest nuclear weapon ever made) is the equivalent of a 5.0 earthquake.

Had this shower thought and found this video already made! I have another one for you – what if Tsar Bomba was detonated in the North Pole?
Who’s gonna tell the em that, I’m the deep sea, a nuclear explosion becomes negligible when faced with the crushing weight of the entire ocean above it.
Now, do the video again except this time every nuclear weapon in existence is detonated in the same place, at the same time. The result will be quite different, I assure you.
