  1. He might be a slaver, but ya gotta respect the integrity. Reminds me of Andrew Jackson, he might've been a slave owning southerner but he was very pro Union, and put his foot down hard when South Carolina tried to subvert federal authority during the Nullification Crisis. If he didn't die 16 years earlier he 100% would've sided with the Union.
