Nahh… If there's any reasons why Malacca Empires fall is none other than the corrupted minister itself leads into the downfall. Back then the gunpowder musket technology has already been around and Malacca Empire itself did possess the technology so it's not easy to be conquered. The reasons Alfonso successfully conquered it thanks to the corrupted minister Malacca Empire itsel revealed all the weaknesses information while the merchant betrayal for revenge over high paying taxes implemented and the weak Sultan rules becoming a major factor to the downfall.
