The the Italian army didn't fight with "outdated equipment" he didn't fight with equipment at all they didn't have enough for everyone.
The tankettes where an experiment many nations try, italy kinda trow them away as soon it got out classed by more modern tanks.
Not to mentions but even France has is weakest defeat Italy
