My grandfather fought in the battle of the Somme. Being born in Australia 🇦🇺 and being surrounded by the Australian 1st Division means HE'S NOT BRITISH mate. Although you mention the ANZACs occasionally, you gloss over the "punching above our weight" mate. We like to see the score go on the board!
World War 1 is basically proof of Conflict Theory. This war is Conflict Theory at its worst with each side fighting tooth and nail for even the slightest advantage.
